When lifting the motor and trans as a unit for transplant, is it absolutely necessary to remove the torque converter-to-driveplate fasteners? Dont want to make a costly mistake of not doing it. But I dont see the need if Im lifting it and dropping it as a unit. This is my first 3.8 fwd full heart transplant. please bear with me.
also please pray for the unfortunate people affected by the recent Tsunamis .I think they can use all the strength they can get.

If the engine and trans are to remain bolted together you do NOT need to unbolt the converter.
I would suggest the unfortunate people affected by the tsunamis would appreciate a financial donation as well as your prayers. One can donate through the Red Cross.
