I also have a Injen CAI on my car, and stupid me drove through deep water, sucking it in. I took my car to hyundai, and luckily the replaced my engine, head, and transmission for free ( I had a bent rod). So I decided to get a bypass valve. Injen doesn't make them, so you have to get an AEM one. My intake is 2.75-3 inches where the bypass valve connects the two pieces, so i got a 3 inch bypass valve, and tightened that mother down really tight. I didn't notice any power loss, and I haven't had any problems since!

Also if you have a one piece intake, you'll have to cut it for your bypass valve... but i didn't have to since i had the two piece
