Question--On my '86 T/A (different engine, carb, no computer, but stock cooling system) where is the relay that controls when the cooling fan kicks on and off? Also, at what temp should it cycle? Thanks!

The relay on my 85 is located on the drivers side firewall. The relay is in a bracket with two other relays. It's right between the booster and drivers fender. Hope that helps. Not sure if thats what you needed or not.

Thanx, In my case, the fan runs 100% of the time. So I unplugged each of the 3 relays you pointed out...the fan kept running each time! It much be direct wired somewhere!
I appreciate your help. Oz

You may be able to see where the wire runs from the fan itself and trace it that way. It may be run through the fuse block under the dash, or spliced into any accessory that activates upon ignition. Let us know how it works out.
