got started with some models, now need help with painting

i just got some models at my local hobby shop, and most of them are ready for painting, can someone go through exaclty what i need and how exactly i should paint.

btw the cars i got are 1970 toyota celica, skyline 2000 gt-r, honda beat, nissan sileighty, and datsun 240z.

haha i got back into modeling and have 3 of those 5 cars. the z is the one about ready for painting.
