hesitation after idle

When I sit in traffic for a few minutes and then accelerate she slows down or hesitates then she speeds up....she does this a few times and then after I slow down or come to a complete stop she's fine. The "hesitation" feels almost like the fuel pump craping out but then she's fine after I come to a stop. What could be wrong? We replaced the fuel filter not that long ago....please help. Thanks

My car had this problem too. (Sounds like the same problem) My injectors just needed cleaning. Get a bottle of injector cleaner and add it to your fuel tank next time you fill up. If that doesn't clear it up, then it is probably something else, just don't know what.

sounds about right, i was thinking carbs for a bit, and sounded like your enrichment pumps werent working right, and when you pressed the gas it was going lean, but with the computer controlled car, i would say its either the dirty injectors, bad O2 sensor, or some such nonsense :)

I'm gonna have to get gas in the next day or so...so I'm gonna try the injector cleaner and hope that's the problem and not something bigger...thanks guys!
