Hi all and Happy New Year !!!

Is there any way to find out wich mass flywheel my car got? Of course before I take it a part :-) . So is it twin or not ? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

BMW started using a twin mass flywheels in the late 80's because of complaints of driveline noise and vibration.

so most likely, ure E36 has the heavier flywheel. ;)

While late E30's and all E36's used DMF's it's always helpful to specify whether your early 90's 3 Series is an E30 or E36 do to the stepped body style intro's.
