true. it is a 1998 escort with 1.9 liter andy thing else just please ask I understand that this isn't that hard of a repair but have no clue of where

????? 1998 came with a 2.0 liter engine (it says 2.0 split port induction on the top)
REMOVAL
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Perform the fuel pressure release procedure.
Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.
Remove the (A) bolt and the (B) Camshaft Position sensor (CMP sensor). It is located at the back side of the cyl. head, just below the valve cover, on the driver's side. It's close to the coil pack.
REMOVAL
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Perform the fuel pressure release procedure.
Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.
Remove the (A) bolt and the (B) Camshaft Position sensor (CMP sensor). It is located at the back side of the cyl. head, just below the valve cover, on the driver's side. It's close to the coil pack.

look at the backside of the engine, a little past cylinder 4's injector.....
P.S. - 1998 has a 2.0L, SPI=SOHC, Zetec=DOHC
