The van will not start after a few days of no usage, week-end. The battery needs to be charged to restart the van. Everything appears to be working fine, except for this one BIG problem. There is no indication of alternater doide being bad, or anything link that. Any ideas on past issues of a SLOW battery drian and/or fast way to check for a slow battery drian?

Disconnect the battery and charge it. Wait over night. If it dosen't start the van, then the battery is shot. It doesn't matter how old it is, you could have a bad cell.

Did you find the problem?
We had the same problem and after MUCH searching, found the answer to ours. Turns out that if the key isn't taken out of the door lock in the perfect upright position, the auto lock thing does not disengage and it drains the battery. The mechanic said he'd never seen such a thing. LOL
Just thought I'd post this here in case you or others had the same problem. It cost me $100 to find out I hadda make sure the key was straight up and down when I took it outta the lock. :(
