Hello, Mike in Tx. I have just recently bought a 95 Blazer LT 4X4 4.3L
"W" engine. Right now its running Ok, but after reading all these posts I`m starting to save up money for the inevitable..EGR,Injector,Nut Kit etc....It`s apparent you have been in and out of your Blazer top to bottom and was curious as to what scan tool is the best to buy for reading the GM codes? Is one scanner better than another? Anyway.......like your Blazer! thats sweet!
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for your kind words.
Make sure you buy an OBDII scanner to read any codes on your computer.
Also, you won't have to replace your EGR, a cleaning it will fix the problem if it comes up.
Just keep it tuned up, fuel filter, plugs, cap and rotor, air filter.
It will respond nicely to a cold air intake and a Ravin Z series muffler and a high flow cat in the future.
This engine needs to breathe to get its full potential.
