Popping noise when operating door

When I open and close the driver's door, there is a popping nose. It appears it is coming from some type of tensioner that is located between the door hinges. There is a lot of play (1/8" +/-) where the tensioner attaches to the body.

Do I just drive out the pin and replace the part??? It's only doing this on the driver's door which gets the most use.

Do you guys have a "FORUM FRIEND" who sells parts reasonably?

Thanks in advance ....

Jim, Did you figure out what was causing the popping noise on your Isuzu door? My 2000 does it on both front doors. I bought the vehicle used & I thought it was supposed to do that. Let me know what you did, I would like to do away with that annoying sound. Royce

Royce, it was those worn out plastic bushings. Order you a few (about $3.00 each) Drive that pin straight up with a hammer. Remove the worn out bushing. Replace with the brass bushing. Add a dob of white grease and re-install the pin. Just a couple of minutes per door. Jim
