I went to KBB and I haven't got what I was looking for.

I see 1999 Vr4 for sale for at least 40k and some for 16k
well, i'm looking for 1999 Vr4 price with lower than 75k miles on it and BAD Paint, alot of scratches and dents ( I don't mind i'm going to re-paint it, and also reduce the price )

thx for answers

Finding a 99VR-4 In BAD exterior condition is not gonna be too east. Considering only 270 or something were even sold in the US. I would imagine most are under 75,000 miles. thats alot of miles for a 5 year old car.

Good luck finding one. for under 20k

A 99VR4 is overpriced at 40K but 16K seems to damn low. If you find a 99 VR4 for under 20K, you've found one hell of a deal (as long as its in working condition).

dude on 3SI from all the way up at long island, NY bought a 99 vr-4 that was down here in my city (huntsville, al) and had it shipped all the way up to him. My buddy with a 93 RT/TT worked at the dealership where it was up for sale and posted it up on 3SI and the dude bought it. It was in immaculate condition with around 75K miles, and i think it sold for somewhere around 17K, but he got a deal.

you do know that you could also just go for the 99' front end conversion kit and get a 99 VR4 spoiler (if those are the only things you like about 99 of course) and it mite save you a bit of cash...

Also the ugly center garnish. and the sail panels.

There might be a few other little things... Can't think of them off the top of my head though.

i've seen 1998 VR4 for at least 20k, is that a good deal ?

It all depends on the condition. If it's spotless and has about 2,000 miles, yeah propabbly. If it has 80k and looks beat up, I'd say no.

the car was in a good condition

If I found a 98 VR4 with 2000 miles, I'd spend 30K. It would be worth 20-25K with less then 25K miles and in great condition.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't 98's even rarer then the 99's?

They might be, I'm not sure on that. However they look the same as 97's :P

99 vr4 are the rarest or is that most rare?

I see more 1999 Vr4 than 1999 lol

That because the VR4 stands out more with the spoiler, you have to actually look for the base and SL 99's

GritMaster

And they might not be True 99's either. ;)
It's pretty common to convert them.

yeah

btw, I wanted to say:
I see more '98 than '99

you see more 98's because the 97,98 base/sl/vr4 have the hoop spolier. Also the 99 base/sl's have the hoop spoiler. And yes, the 98 VR4's are more rare then 99's.

One more agreement. The 98 VR4 is rarer than the 99VR4.

wow...i'm very impressed by that.

but, what will be a good price for a 1998 VR4.
i've seen some good deals for 18-20k but maybe I can get better :/
