Okay the only Initial D game ive gottan ahold of was Ver.2 and I started with a Celica GT-Four.....figured out that i didnt like the handling and drifting on it so moved to my favorite car.........Acura Integra Type-R. It handled some of the harder courses okay(got beat somwhat, im pretty knew only played 1 week) and altho its not as powerful as my frnds Skyline GTR BRN34 but personally i like it better. It works better in harder course......so basically im trying looking for advice and advice on good cars in the game.Dont have enuf money to but each one^^
Thanks alot
Thanks alot

From what I'm told the DC2 Integra is a major cheater car in V.2, just stick with it and you can't be beat, something about the physics in the game being biased to the car or something.

FD and DC2 are the two major cars in VER.2 for battle.....i would go with the FD because it launches first and you can block the DC2...(thats if you know how to block REALLY good).....plus it can run any of the DC2 stages very well for battle.....

A programming error gave the DC2 an acceleration advantage upon hitting a wall. Basically, they can hit barriers and won't slow down as much as the other cars in the game.
Go ahead and play with it, but be prepared to be called a cheater in the later levels because of the glitch, even if you don't exploit it.

yeah true that....DC2 is a glitching car.....it usually happens in irohazaka on the first turn.....or on any sharp turn, if the DC2 rams in to your car, you will lose alot of speed and the DC2 will again alot of speed.....

Yeah. We had a lot of little kids that would only use DC2s, and they would only challenge me to Irohazaka because of the infamous glitch.
Too bad they still sucked at driving. I whupped so many of them I've lost count.

Fags. Glad ver 3 fixed that.
As a side note, i dont see how the rx8 is cheap (its my car).

You guys cant be serious?! I think thas bull but hey who knows. but no1 can chancge my mind bout it the Integra Type-R will prolly always be my fav car ever. And i really doubt the integra has an accel glitch. I mean my friends killed me in the start with his skyline R34. And it for sure isnt that fast. my celica GT-Four easily goes like 215 while my Integra has only hit 205.Well still its not like i chose it to cheat. chose it cause its my fav car in the world! Well nobody can tell me im not a great driver tho...beat my frends skyline with an 85:)

no, segarosso did not make a mistake in version 2 by making the integra good... so its not a glitch. if you are talking about the in-game car glitch, that is different... in which all cars can do that. for your top speed, i'm pretty sure it was battle and boost must've been on. also, dc2 drivers aren't all bad... just a lot of noobs play with them. i mean people like m.s.k. use it but will someone ever call him a noob?
also dc2 can block the fd's in version two as long as the fd doesn't get to the 2nd gear. dc2 first gear is quite fast.

The glitch is in there, man. Yes, all cars do get more acceleration than they should compared to their real-life counterparts, but the Integra DC2 gets even more of an advantage than the other cars. I've tested this out on Irohazaka runs plenty of times, and the glitch has been proven each and every time. I did all of my testing against my brother with boost turned off, because I hate boost. I also tested in story mode, so boost wasn't enabled there, either.
I never said all DC2 drivers were bad, but just take a look at the records on Irohazaka DH and you'll see just how bad they screwed up with this car. If my FD beats the pants off these guys on every other course, how is it that they can gain so much as 10 seconds on me at Irohazaka? I race R34s and AE86s on Irohazaka DH and it always ends up as a close race, so how is it that this underdog all of a sudden can shoot through the course?
Well?

dur, its called a home-course advantage... its in version 3. dc2, its not a glitch. segarosso didn't make a mistake in what they did in version 2.
i might add since you drive an fd and play boost off that the dc2 does get an advantage during start in its first gear, which would be big on stages like happo and iro. and no offense if your driving an fd against r34 an ae86 and its close, you might not be using the car right on that stage (probably shifting into 3rd to much).
why don't you compare dc2 versus fd on akagi? dc2 does not have a good hit recovery on akagi and akina. it just happens to be that on stages LIKE irohazaka and happougahara line is more important than speed on some turns so you HAVE to tap the wall on some turns. like the consecutives on happo or the jumps on irohazaka or basically all of cp2. it's not like you can eat the wall on irohazaka and still get a decent time. and even if you tap the wall its accel is still dampered. if you do not believe me, go play akina with the dc2... fifth gear is so damn fast if you do not hit one wall. which is needed for a low 50-52'.
edit: the ramming glitch happens to all the cars, useually the car in the back passes but it also counts as a big wall hit. i've seen it happen to mr-2's and fd's. it happens when the two lines cross at exit.

what he said is what i go with.call me a noob to the game i somwhat am but the integra still my fav car so i dont care what u say. and what duluth said is true. Even tho i havent beaten normal yet(this is wierd) i have beaten kylie and that other 2nd dude on akagi(i play v2. btw) and my dc2 doesnt take to kindly to hits unlike my frends skyline who revoers quickly and boom hes back at his regular speed(but i still whoop him^^)
And Mt Akina is no different. I beat the 1st dude kenji i think but tried the second guy...got killed cause my int doesnt recover from hits good enuff. BTW, anybody got any advice on those levels akagi and akina. That K.T dude on akagi is hard:(
Oh and anyone know when to shift with the Integra. From 1-3 im okay but the 5th gear ration is so high its insane! 5th has absulutly NO power in it until it hits like 170 and 4th hits 8500 rpm at like 150
