starting problem

i removed a bulldog remote start unit after it failed.now it dies as soon as it starts.plenty of pressure & volume from the fuel pump. if i spray starting fluid it will run till i stop spraying.????????????????????????

Hi,
it sounds like a fuel cut off.
My choice would be to spend the 50 bucks and go to a place like JoDi and have them finish the uninstall.
They will exactly know what to do.

I was thinking locally, as in not thinking that this is the internet...
They are an example of a reputable car stero/remote starter chain in Connecticut.

Ask your local GM dealer service department about who is reputable in your area.
They know, because they disconnect them for many repairs, sometimes even without asking you...

Sounds like you unhooked the passkey2 bypass. Take the column apart and look for the 3 little wires they patched into for the alarm. These wires go all the way up into the ignition cyl..
