Got the Sylvanias today for about $40 a/ Wal-Mart. Simple to put them in also. I haven't been on the road with them yet. Are these the bulbs that kinda have the blueish tint to them you see on other cars from a distance at night?

Since these bulbs are brighter and burn hotter will they last as long? I have disabled my DRL's and dont drive my car at night too often (it stays in the garage and we take the qife's Grand Am everywhere)

The blueish tint wount be seen...alot of the highend cars have HIDs and they have a blueish tint to them. The SilverStars are very white light.
You can go to www.suvlights.com and download a rebate and save 5 bucks.

You should get a few years out of them, since you have the DRLs disabled.
