tape player dead

My tape player doesn't seem to want to accept tapes anymore. The radio still seems to work just fine. Has anyone else out there had their tape player die on them? Any common fixes?

I haven't heard a lot about cassette radios dying...mine's working just fine. I see a few NEW Olds cassette radios on eBay Motors for $20 plus shipping. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38639&item=7944833356&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) I'm hoping to get a Cassette/CD radio on eBay soon, so maybe I can offer you mine...for a small fee. :biggrin: It's in mint condition besides the fact that the little Bass/Treble knob broke off (but the Bass/Treble is still functional).
