My Rex is Leaking...

There is a small leak where the tailgate support strut is in my rex. It's on the end of the strut that's connected to the car (not the end that is connected to the hatch) It's actually where the plastic panel is curved up to fit the strut on the car. Right on the peak of the curve of the plastic is where the water slowly drips. Do you think I just need to clean out the drainage tubes for the sunroof, or is it something else?

I'll put pictures up tomorrow if you're not sure where I'm talking about.

yea post some pics if you could cuz i only kinda understand what your talking about. I would try doing your sunroof idea and also the weather stripping around the hatch where it actually closes on the sides.

Yeah, I had to cut some of the plastic to get it to fit, but it did fit. I had to move my subs so they pointed up so now I have to figure out how to stop them from moving around. Anyway, I can realy feel a difference in cornering, body roll has been reduced signifacantly, and it's making cornering a lot more fun (except that the subs slide from side to side on every turn). That bar is definatly the best $30 I've spent on my car so far.

Is it a rear strut bar? Oh and where did you get it from?

yeah, its a rear bar, and I bought it from Crxlvr. It wasn't a brand name bar or anything, but it still works well.

oh ok, i thought you go it off ebay or somethin. Thanks tho.:D
