Screw opti spark... Go with coil packs or go home :p

I must say the TPI is a more dependable system but,

The fact of the matter is, the LT1 likes boost better than a TPI car does. So we all know where my vote goes :icon16:

. They look cool anr are under rated and can break the tires loose really easy on almost any car. Who wouldn't want one?

Me.

:p

No one is doging anyone. 99% of our members respect both almost equally. So we all come in peace.

If you put a set of vortecs on a L98 and a new cam it would absoluetely be kick ass! The LT1 has better heads then the L98 by far, but for me I like what I like and that is a good ole distributor. Not everyone on here is a 3rd or fourth gen camaro owner, I myself am a 2nd gen owner. I am not much of a fuel injection person myself since I am more of a hands on person. But to choose between a TPI or LT1, LT1 will get my choice. For the money the car already comes with really good heads and would be cheaper to build up then a TPI system. On the 3rd gen if you could, smog wise, get away with vortec heads then things would be different.

*another thought, there has to be a reason as to why a lot of 3rd gen owners are putting Lt1's in ther cars....

umm your correct in a way, but also there plenty 305 and V6 guys that own 3rd gens that do 350 TPI swaps as well
