Yes this might be for you, you might be that oblivious to your surroundings, gotta have that cell growing out of your ear, while driving your car, all day 7 days per week glamour seeking idiot. I hope, for the life of you, that running into a glass door at the supermarket while yacking on your phone, or making a mistake on an important contract because you were blabbing on and on and on will make you at least use an earpiece while driving, or pull over to the side of the road. The worlds most annoying invention, THE CELL, is taking over the roadways and putting millions of clear headed drivers in grave danger by the cell addicted jackasses on the road!!!!!!! Ok my rant is done but one last thing.

that running into a glass door at the supermarket while yacking on your phone

Hey! I did that by accident, ok!

Actually, I was running when I was trying to find certain stuff at Super Store (If anyone's heard of it....It's a food store) and Some asshole opened the door for no apparent reason, he didn't have a jug of water to fill, and clipped me in the head.............twice.

I can't think of one good reason to even own a cell. Hence, I don't.

I have a cell phone, whenever someone calls me at a restaurant or public place i turn it off temporarily so i dont bother the people trying to enjoy their dinners around me. Same thing at an any public place really unless i know it's an important call. And i have used in my car several times but i have the 2 way from nextel so i dont have to worry about putting it up to my ear and distracting me, i just keep it on my lap and talk when it's my turn. For the most part though i cant stand those who have to have a cell phone just to have one to look styling (i.e.- Anyone who buys the new Razor from cingular)

I have a cell and I can drive and perform normally when I talk on it. People get too deep in conversations when they drive and their focus is taken off the road. Don't bitch at me because I can talk and drive at the same time and not kill people while I'm at it.

Now that is going a little over the edge, don't you think?

One time I was driving at night and saw a guy with his car light on reading a novel while doing 80 down the highway. In the morning you'll see tons of women putting their makeup on while driving so it'll be nice and pretty before they get to work. At lunch you'll see people messing with their big mac or whopper while trying to drive.

The cell phone is bad, but things were bad before the cell phone was ever a problem.

I lived 18 years without a cell phone, got one and couldn't stay off it. That's why I got rid of it, the damned things rule your life. If you wanna get ahold of me, call me at home or at work, and if I don't wanna talk, don't call back when you get the voicemail cuz that just pisses me right off.

Ah yes, the ever moronic but oblivious driver/cell phone user. I've encountered this rapidly growing species many times. from cutting you off, to tailgating you without ever realizing their ass-like behaviour. What usually cures this diesease, is to grab the infected person by his designer sweater, then manually insert the small" Communications device", and stick it up their ass sideways. This usually provides a sufficient "Wake up call". Then, a change in attitude usually follows.

I swear I can point 'em out now! I can see 'em coming because all of the sudden some car will swerve 2 feet in front of my bumper for no good reason, with no blinker and no warning and i swear to god that used to get me so heated. This, or some variation therein, literally happens at least 3 times a week. Now I pull around them with a sneaking suspicion... and, humbly and unfortunately, I am ALWAYS right, ALWAYS the cell phone. Not paying attention. I used to think I pid attention while on my phone. Then I noticed that every other driver on the phone drove TERRIBLY, and I've since seen the light. Now I ALWAYS call people back if I'm driving. It's just dangerous; it really is.

Are you not capable of talking while driving? Is that why you think NOBODY should use a cell phone in the car? Or is it that you dont know how to drive with only one hand? Or is it both? Im sorry if you are not coordinated enough, and not intelligent enough to hold a conversation while remembering how to drive, but that just means that you are at least smart enough to know that you arent capable of doing it. Some people arent that smart. Then on the other hand there is this other, "superior" form of human beings which is capable of driving with one hand, while using their mouth AND ears at the same time. What can I say, I was just born with the natural ability, Im sorry that you werent, we cant all be so lucky.

You can tell the folks that drive auto transmissions, they're the one's touting driving with one hand....
try answering a cell phone while shifting gears and steering, and doing so safely!
If my phone rings while I'm driving, I tell the person I will call back as soon as I can.

I can't think of one good reason to even own a cell. Hence, I don't.

My work supplied me with one, it's one of those things required for the management position I am in as it requires travel.
