what kind of card do I need to be able to take the boost of a turbo, or is the fuel press that they cant take, can I mod a holley or edelbrok in any way to handle the extra boost or press?

Well in most cases you would have to pu the carburator pre turbo. Most carburators run off of engine vacum and since there is no negine vacume post turbo then no fule would be delivered.

Uh, there are plenty of blowthru turbo cars. Blowthru is better than drawthru in many many ways. It is the preferred system.
What motor is this going on? Mikuni carbs work well for blow thru if you're turboing a smaller carb'd engine. For a v8, a holley double pumper with nitrophyl floats, milled choke horn, and pressurized throttle shafts will perform fairly well to around 15psi, more if you get a professionally reworked carb($$).

tis why i said most cases. Blow through require a fule pump, dont they? of corse most higher performance carburators do as well.

Unless he's building a lawn mower, yes it needs a fuel pump, turbocharged or not. Unless you go back to the very first gasoline powered cars, there is going to be a fuel pump in the car... very few gravity feed carb'd cars in the world.
I'm pretty sure the vast majority of carb'd turbo applications are blow thru. I can tell you how to build a blow thru holley carb, or sell you mine. I'm going EFI, no longer need it. Its a holley double pumper, 750cfm, with a proform main body, nitrophyl floats, and it comes with a 1" spacer that is drilled for pressurizing throttle shafts. The baseplate is drilled as well.
