My headlights seem a little weak on my 98 gtp. Can I just change bulbs or do I need to replace the whole light assembly?

You need to ask Big-L. He has redone his headlights and says there great.

Get yourself an upgraded 9007 headlight harness from www.suvlights.com and a set of Sylvania SilverStar bulbs and replace the stock driving lights with Cyber Whites NV-602W from Walmart for about 40 bucks. If you really want to get some good lighting buy a set of HIDs in 4,100° K but they are alot of money ($400.00) might find some cheaper on Ebay, but remember the higher the number the bluer the light is and its not as bright.

I've got a 00 GP and I've tried several different bulbs from the Blue tint to the Super Whites.
Every set I tried had the same wattage that was recommended and ALL of them regardless of quality fried my factory wiring harness so I strongly encourage you to listen to BIG-L and get a wiring harness upgrade. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

You should be ok,the silverstars are factory wattage. To help increase the voltage the harness makes a nice difference.
