American Idiot

I wanted to know if anyone has listened to the new Green Day CD and has any thoughts on it. I personally think it is awesome. I also liked Nimrod, Dukie, and all their other CD's , but how do you think the new CD stacks up??

Boulevard of broken dreams is one of the better songs on the album but i haven't lisented to the whole thing yet. My Fav. Bands are pillar subseven, and Thousand Foot Krtuch (TFK).

Novacaine is probably the best song on the CD...numbers 5 and 6 are good when played back to back. They are something and St. Jimmy.

Great CD, well worth the burn...ermm...buy!

I do actually enjoy the album. My personal favorite song is "wake me up when september ends".

That is a good song. I noticed that there are a lot more slow songs than their other CD's, but there are a lot of typical Green Day songs on there like St. Jimmy

I also am in possesion of a copy, excellent CD! Definitely in my Top 5 favourite releases in 2004.

Easy top 5 of 2004. There is no competition. I like the whole CD and think everyone should check it out.

I like a few of there songs.....not a big fan or anything. but american idiot has kinda gotten on my nerves now.

American Idiot has been overplayed by a lot of the stations and any song played that often fets annoying. After further review however, "When September Ends" is the best song on the CD.

Awful. My cousin has the CD and it's seriously the worst stuff I've ever heard. I was never really a fan of Green Day.

i thought it was ok... none of their albums have yet to surpass dookie. i can listen to that cd straight through 24/7. i hate it when bands try and get involved with politics and it seems they're trying to do that...

yep amen to that! i had dookie till it got a crack on the disc and broke in half (played it in a personal cd player custom modded to run with no cover after i found the crack)but i would love to get that cd back!

i first bought the dookie cassette (haha before my first cd player) then bought the cd. that got used so much it eventually was too scratched to play so i bought another copy about a year and a half ago. it's still going strong.
