The Ultimate X

I have a lot of free time on my hands so I put together a little list. I call it the "Mod List" I thought it was silly at first but I have a feeling mine is not an original idea. I have to admit though that my list is a little on the dreamy side..... So I thought I would start this thread to see what you guys would do to your X if you could do anything you wanted.
1. 240 hp Pathy Engine swap
2. ARB Lockers front and back
3. Bad Ass! 3" suspension lift with revolver shackles
4. 32" tires
5. Lower Gears
6. Every Product Calmini Offers
7. 9000i Winch
8. Offroad Trailer
I think I would leave the IFS intact. I kind of like the ride.

Goliath hit the nail on the head right there...
Diesel
Solid Axle in front.
I would add:
Coil springs all around.

All of a sudden the Xterra looks alot like a.... Patrol? Too bad the US digs tall station wagons.
From what I understand the Patrol drivetrain is near bulletproof. 1988+ models have the H233B up front. Nice :) 31 spline in the front, 33 in the rear.

I wonder how much to get one imported and if it would be worth the hassle.

Yeah but if I went that far I'd just get a D90.

It'd be cool to be able to survive a dunk like this with no damage.

As long as the water was warm! It'd be a hard toss between the Discovery and the D-90? Disco would be a better daily driver but the D-90 would be the Ultimate for me! I test drove one two years ago in Canaduh! Would have had to fork over the extra $20grand!

I have to agree with the D-90
I will be getting one in 2 years.
It will start like this:

Me too...I bought a 90 Pathfinder right out of college...dam I pushed that truck so hard off road, that Pathy went everywhere.
That Patrol is just begging for a sawzall and a long travel rock crawler setup on 37" SSR's.

Actually, the tires look smaller than they actually are. 38" small to be exact.

I have said it before adn I'll say it again. WHEN I win the lottery I am heading straight to Germany adn importing one of these. I want the model they build for the Danish Army. I drove them for 5 years (we had Defenders before) and loved them.
Back then one was young and careless dan did not appreciate the fine machinery. I remember going 40mph and instead of hittting the brake to do a corner you just down shifted from 4th to 2nd adn let the tires do the rest :bloated:
