I have posted on this before but I have another quick question ... my friend said I could use this product called Seafoam and put it in with my oil and it would unstick my lifters ... Does anyone know of this product and if it really works ..... cause i don't want anything that would damage my engine.

From what I've experienced it works really well.

How long does it usually take to work? I put it in the day before yeserday and I can't tell any difference which I know its not that instant but im just curious .... also I put a 1/2 pint it said a full pint for 10 quarts so I figured 1/2 pint should be just right ...

Did you drain out 1/2 pint of your oil when you did this?

well after having a couple of garages look at it here I finally just took it to the dealership .... they had to replace the rocker arms and valve adjuster lashers (think thats how you say it) ....

well its under a powertrain warranty till 60k miles it only has 38 on it .... but now the dealer is trying to say they will not pay for it ... says its had bad maintence work done to it lol .... I have only had it to the shop twice just to change oil like changing the oil is going to cause all that damage when the car's oil was fine no leaks, etc . I checked the oil regular cause I had a problem with my mazda about the oil leaking so its just a habit to check the oil almost every day.. but they want the records of those 2 times ... and i bought it used at 32k miles and they are also wanting the records before I got it ... so I don't know about that but I can get the record from my regular garage for my shit.

You need a friend at a oil shop, and have him "make" you some reciepts.

you need to be stern with them. MAKE them tell you and SHOW you exactly where/what BAD MAINTAINCE was done on it. dont let them BS you...i found out real quick that with mitsu dealers you need to be an ass to them so they know you are serious. if not i would threaten to give them a REALLY REALLY HARD TIME!! tell the you wil report them to the BBB, mitsu corp., the local news and all in all bad public relations. just make them think that you will be really annoying until you get what you want. if all else fails get all of your reciepts before hand and go to another mitsu dealer.
