Another Dome Light Question

I've read many a thread but none seem to provide an answer to my issue. I have a dome light that won't shut off (unless I pull the fuse!). The door switches all APPEAR to be working fine. That is, when the the doors are open, the buzzer buzzes. I've just replaced the headlight switch to be sure that wasn't the problem, of course it wasn't. The only other issue with the truck is the PM don't work either (also brand new switch). I've checked all the fuses - none bad. Is it possible there is a grounding issue? HELP!

I had the same problem and thought the switches were good. Does it shut off with the dome override ?? If not it could be in the control module for the keyless entry if you have that. The door switces on mine seemed to work , But trust me they didn't. I would say with about 95% certainty that it is a door switch. It sounds odd, But I replaced mine and the problem was solved. They cost $ 8.00 each at the dealer.

I've delt with this problem as well. My issue was a very simple fix, I figured that out only after spending $400 on the issue. Long story short. My BCM was diagnosed as bad. When going to install I first pulled the middle cup holder deal located between the two front seats. all of a sudden the lights shut off on me??? confused I noticed an alarm shock "sensor" I simply turned the sensor down and my problem was gone away!!!! Now I have a BCM and 2 hours of diagnosis that is no good. Happy hunting, hope this helps.
