need trans help

I have a 93 v6 GT auto, 190K,. just lost reverse, forward gears apear to be fine, Is this a terminal condition ?? or just some electronic selnoid gone bad ?? fluid was a bit low, not burnt

worth fixing ??

It is probably a solanoid but if it were my daughters car I would replace it just to make sure nothing happens and she gets stuck on the side of the road...better safe then sorry when it comes to your kids
