Air Intake Grilles

I am looking to add set of grilles for the intakes below the
front bumper to dress up the front end and give the car a
more finished appearance.
I have done extensive research on the web and have not been
able to locate any aftermarket grilles for the Intrigue.
Has anyone else had any luck locating such an item?

That is because an intrigue is a bottom feeder, ie there is no grill, all the air for the engine is guided by the plastic guard on the bottom of your car, up into the engine, there are no grills on an intrigue. I suggest you look into an aftermarket hood with a scoop, thats the only air intake body accessory you can get, but there are no grills for an intrigue, think of it this way, go outside are their any grills on your intrigue? Most likely not, and since theres no original grill, there is no aftermarket grill

I think Drachen is looking for a mesh grille kit to dress up the holes in the lower front bumper. I haven't been able to find any kits for the Intrigue (just the Alero) but I know a few websites that will sell you sheets of aluminum mesh that you can cut yourself, if you have the tools and the skills to do that. A 12"x48" sheet runs about $39.99 USD + shipping.
I too am looking to dress up my car a little also. As we speak, my car is at the auto body shop getting an OEM spoiler installed. I would go for the mesh grille but I'm really not sure if I'd like how that looks on my car. I would also get some factory fog lights, but since my car is the GX trim level, it isn't prewired for fogs and, looking at the installation instructions to my remote starter I'm not about ready to mess with the electrical system.
But Laser 17 is right, you really don't want to obstruct those holes because the Intrigue is a bottom feeder and the only places the engine gets air is through those holes and from under the bumper.

why not add some factory foglights - they kinda dress up the front lower openings a little bit

You are correct, burnout. I was thinking more along the lines of a perferated stainless steel (ala GMC Denali) but mesh might look OK too.
Maybe recessed into the openings.

The Intrigue takes in much more air from UNDERNEATH the bumper, so the slight restriction of airflow by adding properly designed aftermarket grilles probably wouldn't make that much of a difference. Of course, I wouldn't want to block those intakes off completely either.
