Good morning to all,
I have a 96 lumina. I am currently having problems with the front end vibrating. It shakes at low speeds and high speeds. If you let the wheel go at low speeds it wobbles back and forth. Last night I had the wheels rebalanced and this did not cure the vibration. THe wife took it to Midas for a front end inspection last week and they said it is ok. Just wondering if anybody has any other sugestions
Thanks

I was thinking alignment, until you said your wife had it checked, and it checked out. How old are your tires? Make sure your lug nuts are secure.

torqued all lugs to 100ft lb last night. The tires are 75k Michelians (my spelling is bad) and have about 50k on them. Tires are in good shape and they took a new balance. I orgnially thought I needed new tires but the shop say's there ok

It sounds to me (if your steering wheel is actually moving back and forth) that you are starting to get a ply separation on one of your front tires. Take it to a good tire shop and they'll tell you. Also, go out and take a good look at your tires to see if you have one particular spot or area that is more bald than the rest of the tire, if so, then that is for sure your problem.

Move the front tires to the back and see if it follows the tires.
