Blinker Problem

My mom has this problem with her 97 crv. The blinker stays on after you make your turn. but it only does it when its cold. So if anybody else this problem or has found a way to fix plz post here

Probably the cancel cam behind the steering wheel

yeah prolly the cancel cam, but thats just a guess i dont think thats a very common problem

So it could be that even though it only happens when it gets cold outside?

My wife's '97 CRV has the same blinker problem. Does not seem to be related to cold though. Just stopped working completely. I suspect it may be related to the recall work done on the ignition switch but only because I've never heard of a "blinker cam" going bad.
Also having trouble with the wipers now. Sometimes they seat properly when shut off, sometimes they stop mid windshield. Sometimes only high speed works.
Also the warning bell about leaving the keys in the ignition is failing. Not always but a lot. Pressing or tapping on the key hole area seems to make it understand the key is out.
Dealer says nothing is wrong except that the blinker cam is shot and will cost $250 to fix.
