I installed one. Yes it works. you just have to wire it correctly so that the starter kill disarms when you hit the starter button

have a question about remote start!

sometimes when i try to start the car with the key the car would stall.
sometimes i have to press on tha gas for it to stay on.
how would the remote start start the car?

Sometimes means how often? Some remote starters have a feature where if it doesn't start the first time, it will try up to five more times.

hey, i got that LCD Color Pager Alarm thingy with remote start.........
it trys 3 times, and can monitor engine idle. but your G should idle properly anyway as its all ECU controlled, otherwise you may have problems not only with a remote start system, but with your MAF sensor. I would get it checked out before you do the start thing.

P11GT, is your car manual transmission? if so does the autostart work with it okay?

mine is manual, as far as i can remember, there was no wire for the alarm system to distinguish between the two, just gotta be careful not to leave the car in gear, which i normally never do.

I looked on ebay, did the one you got say that you couldnt use it on a manual? All the ones ive seen on there say that

did you install this yourself? how hard was the installation?

P11GT

yeah, i did it myself, it took about 3 hours, could have been quicker, but i ran into some problems with the Nissan Anti Theft System. It was fairly straight forward, but i used to fit alarms and immobiliser anyway so i would say that. Best bet, if youve no prior experience, leave it to the pros. Full fitting instructions do come with them, once you get it, have a read though, see if you can understand what wires are needed. I can see a new thread appearing soon..........."can anyone tell me where and what color wire does........" hehe:D

I have on installed too, works great!

Yours is wired incorrectly. You should take it back to have it fixed. The installer was sloppy or unexperianced.
