What the hellis wrong with my car?

First, my brakes went out. Then, I couldn't use my CD player and the defroster at the same time without it blacking out. Eventually, we had to replace the alternator, and the battery. Now, the brakes still don't work after I had them fixed twice. After all that, now the gear shifter is stuck. My boyfriend practically tore the car apart trying to get it out of park. Oh, by the way, when you shut the car off and don't pull the keys out fast enough, they get stuck in the ignition. What the hell is wrong with this piece of shit?

I would have the brake bled first, it may be your master cylinder that's not working or it could be air in the line, but if your brakes are not working the car will not shift out of park, it's a safety feature to prevent someone accidentally putting the car into gear without pressing the brake.
