Routing antenna through

i was installing a new stereo for my ranger and im all finished except for the antenna. i cant seem to rout it from the outside right side of the car where its suppose to be. i did not have an antenna in this car before and i cant seem to find the right holes that go through the firewall and into the cab. how do i go about this?

you basically need to take off fender if you want to get to the factory holes. they are way in there.

you can also just fish it through one of the pre-existing holes in the fire wall and just have two wires going throught it (ie hole for hood release cable) - or you can just drill a small hole in the firewall (look what's one the other side b4 you drill...) and put a rubber bushing or o ring around the cut so that it wont scape one the wire and so that you can keep it somewhat waterproof
