Price??

Ok heres the story, i've tried alot of different ways to sell my car. nothins really worked out.

should i try the paper again after the new year ??

and should i put it in auto trader to??

and as far as price goes, should i try 5500 or 6000 for it??

its a 98 GS with 102K on it. interior is in perfect condition, the engine is doin great, and overall the car is in really great condition. plus it has the blitz front, carbon fiber hood, and projector headlights.

Autotrader for sure, i sold my car because of them. you should really try them, make sure to include pics, or some people wont even look at it. Took a week and a half after i put it on there.

so long as you provide all the juicy information that anyone would want to know, ebay.com is a surefire thing! car's come and go like mad on there, and for a 98 eclipse u may get more than 5g's. actually i was planning on spending a MAX of 5000 on an eclipse (gyad damnit, im finally actually buying a damn car!) in the next couple weeks actually, so hit me up wit some specs of ur car, you neva know, we may be able to work something out. :iceslolan

hey man, i just sold my 96 Honda Accord coupe with 109k miles for $5000. And i'm in Eire, PA so it's the middle of winter here!! snow everywhere! cold!! crapy!!

took me about a month to sell it, here's how i did it:

i took about 9 really nice pictures i had taken in nice weather put them on http://www.autotrader.com with a nice 2-3 parragraph on the car and its condition. stating that there wasn't a spec of rust, and all the recent maintence i had done on the car.

what i would reconmend to you is putting it on auto trader and asking blue book value. which i looked up is about $5,400. and do what i did, say you are asking blue book and are up for any reasonable offer.
then all you have to do is take what you can get, you can also get the higer price out of someone because of the front blitz kit and head lights.


again i sold my old honda for $5k with 109kmiles in 3 weeks to the second person to look at it in the middle of the winter. for only $500 under blue book.

its all about some realy realy nice quality pictures. even if you have to borrow someones camera to do it. they bought my car because it was nice looking in the pictures.

Autotrader is the way to go. You have to take clean, well-lit pictures, and post all of them (or a link to a page with all of them). If you need an online host, pm me and you can post a link to the pictures on my site.

The first person to look at my old Camaro bought it...I had a page with about 25 pictures of all angles, inside and out, gauges, etc.
Best :iagree: when i sold my gs i had 12 pictures of everything i could, just make sure its really clean. Sold it in a week and a half, and got $7200 for it.

Very reasonable, over here it will sell quick for that price. Just put it on autotrader, it will sell quick. Just show that blue book is that price O.B.O. Then you will get calls to look at it and try to run you down to say $5,500, then you just argue with them and take there best offer if you really want to sell it. I had mine posted for $7,500, they try to talk me down to $6700 looked at them funny told them $7200 take it or leave it. Of course they took it :smokin: Just try that the newspaper doesnt do much. I put mine on the nespaper also and only got one call. On autotrader i got 6 calls and like 4 emails. So just try it out.

i agree on the auto trader thing. i did the same thing, but its all about tons of awsome looking pictures!! i can't stress this enough. my accord sold because i had 9 awsome pictures taken with a 3.2 mega pixel camera in the summer. i had it all cleaned up and waxed etc etc.

yea i'm hopefully gunna be taking her to the car wash and fixin her up today. i have a few minor repairs to take care of but outside of that she ready to go.
