Helpfull critisism:
1) In my opinion, even a rat rod has to be color matched. Even if it sports a suede paint job, it should still be uniform. The tailgate, doors, etc.
2) Paint the gauges. Leaving them chrome detracts from relaism. A little detail goes a long way.
3) Open the track nose grill. By opening the grill you are adding a little more realism also, as the 1:1 track noe grills are almost certainly not one piece.
4) Engine... A good attempt, although you painted the chrome parts the same silver as the block. It would add more interest to paint the block, transmission and other components variosu shades of metal (gunmetal, rust, aluminum, etc) as that would likely be on 1:1 rod as well. Additionaly, when attaching chrome parts no non-chromed plastic, you out to scrape the chrome off the surfaces to be mated so that plastics can bond together. Otherwise you get a gap between the valve cover and main block like you did.
Positive reinforcement:
This is a good kit to build and you did a good job with the stance and overall character of the subject. I think there is a lot of potential and minor details would help make this kit a real stand out. How about some mexican blankets over the seats? Wooden bed our of strips of real balsa, Six shooter revolver gas cap, etc?
Keep up the good work!

Nice work.
I really like the doors and tailgate.
They look like they were replaced with new aftermarket pieces, and not painted yet. Very typical of true rat style. Put it on worry about paint later, if ever.. :)
