Help,
I recently bought a 2001 Chrysler town and Country Limited edition with all the goodies like electric doors etcetera. The car came with only one remote.
According to the owners manual you are able to program additional remotes through a certain procedure. It is also mentioned that up to 4 remotes can be programmed.
So I bought additional remotes hoping I was able to program these.
Well Going through the prescribed procedure, I get all the beeps and all, and once I have programmed the new remote, this new one works perfectly. But the original no longer functions. Trying to re-program the original through the procedure, I am able to program this but now the new one does not work.
I'm suspecting that somebody has allready programmed up to 4 remotes and I'm not able to program any additional remotes.
Can somebody help me in solving this issue so I can program the two additional remotes that I have?
Thanks
Wilcok

Someone's playing a trick on you.
Try programming all of the remotes you have at the exact same time, keystroke for keystroke. One in each hand, know what I mean?

Hi:
I had the same problem you had, the service manual did not mention that the old one will be erased to blank. Program both REMOTE one by one before turn OFF
