93 Chrysler Town & Country. Electric driver seat.
A metal bar under seat has snapped (not bent) which makes the driver seat really unstable.
Unless somebody knows an easy way to fix it I'm gonna have to buy a used seat & install it myself.
Am I correct in assuming that a replacement seat would have to be electric? Mounting bolts/positioning? Maybe a seatbelt connection issue if not electric?

[Details about break below if ya wanna know.
About 1 inch wide by 1/8 " thick. It has something to do with moving the seat forward & back, snapped about 2 inches away from a pin joint which joins it with an identical metal bar (fastened with a pin about 3/16 inch diameter running through ends of each bar & the two bars can then swivel on each other.]

The seat can be fixed but replacing is the best way to go.
Stability while driveing is a must and if you fix it, it will eventually break again.
i an accident the seat is the second thing thats effected by impact and an unstabil seat will sway in the wrong direction causeing more damage to the driver causeing more serious injury.
Replacement is the safer bet.
