Headlamp/bolt sizes

1990 CRX Si healamp. Will it fit on an 88 hatch? I read im some earlier posts that the mounting is a little different and that it will only change the sidelamp seating, how can I tell which year the mountings are? I have a headlamp that doesn't sit right already and it would be useful information. Also..does anyone know of a list of how to find out all of the bolt sizes, etc for different parts on an 88 hatch? Aside from just buying one of several sizes until you find the right size? Fenders specifically..they look like about 3/8..but im not positive. Already looked through the manual..didn't find anything.

Headlights are the same. All bolts on hondas are metric, most are going to be 10, 12, or 14mm.
