matching up springs with shocks

So I see a lot of similar combonations of shocks & springs / coilovers & springs and so forth.

I am totally new to the Honda scene and had some question about this area.

I just purchased a set of Neuspeed Sport Springs. They say it will drop my car 1.8 F and 1.7 rear. First off from what I read I will probably need a camber kit. Is this only in the rear? Why not in the front as well??

Secondly...what shocks mate up with these spring well and why. Is it just becase certain dampening characteristic match up with the spring rate or what??

So many questions...so little time.

First of all..>Welcome to AF. You wont need a camber kit if it's only dropped that far. You could really choose any shocks you want to go along with it. I have Ground Control Coilovers with KYB adjustable shocks and i think they are great. Good luck on whatever u choose.

First off the Neuspeed sports are a good choice between, a lowered stance and a little, firmer ride.

The reason you need a camber kit is because of this

This answers your camber question.

As for mating the srings to shocks, the choice is yours.

How do you plan on driving?

If you want comfort and adjustabilty?

If you want a stiffer ride but still comfortable, but more of performance oriented ride.
Bilstein Sport, or KYB AGX
For thr most aggressive out of the box adjustable shocks
