check engine light. BCS warning, cyl. # 4 misfire

My check engine light has been on for a while now. It only happened after my valve job @ 115K miles.

Before the v/j, I had installed an MBC & 15 psi, a FIPK, and GReddy type-S. I had these on for 2 months; no check engine light came on.

Right after getting the v/j done, a ton of codes came on...cylinder 4 misfire, BCS warning (which I had disconnected, ofcourse, because of the MBC), etc etc.

The obvious culprit is the valve job. I want to know if any of the mods I have listed in my signature can cause a check engine light to go off, from your experience.

to get rid of the BCS light just leave the electrical connector plugged in. once you disconnect the hose from it it doesnt do anything but if its plugged in then it wont throw a code.

so by pluggin the bcs back in with all the hoses, it should be fine?

You don't need to re-attach the hoses, just the electrical connector on the BCS. As for the misfire, I don't know if that would be caused by the BCS not being plugged in or not.....I wouldn't think so.

yeah, just plug the bcs back into the harness and zip tie the bitch to somthing. i used vac caps on the two vac lines becasue i had some laying around. that will fix the wastegate code. i have no idea about the cyilnder #4 misfire.
