96 neon oil leak

Hiya all, I haven oil leak (waterfall !!) at the right side of the engine ,looks like at or above the balancer. Is this a comon thing with these cars and if so how do i fix it ?

Needs a head gasket,common problem and that is what the oil leak is.

I would replace the camshaft sensor gasket which is on the driver side (right)and maybe the valve cover gasket and clean it up being careful to keep any water or solvent away from the pcm and see what happens, worked for me, on sohc 95. Service manual TSB says to be aware of misdiagnosing failed head gasket without checking camshaft sensor first, it also says to use flourescent dye and ultraviolet light to find oil leak, but I never tried that.

Thanks for the imput folks. Ended up being the cam seal popped out
