Tell me this?

please if any body can tell me (this realy is not a 4th gen ?) i need info about my 98 integ.

i just changed my oil about 1000 miles ago, and i cked it yesterday and it is almost all gone. there is no leeks, no smoke, no nothing. what the hell is going on? it runs fine. i don't know what it could be, but it is burning it like a mo fo. if anybody can help thank you.:banghead:

Well, just for gits and shiggles, check your coolant - make sure you don't have oil in there. A couple years ago I blew my head gasket and it started mixing my oil and coolant. I was burning very little oil but it was still going down. I found lots of oil in with my coolant when I drained the radiator. Might not be it but it happened to me.

is the oil pan blot tight? what about the filter?

I stole it, now what!

well the pan as a little oil around the out side but not enough to drip or to lose what i am loseing. the filter is fine k&n i just don't get it

sounds like somethings not tight, and it leaked out. check to see if the drain plug is still there and the filter is tight. if it was a head gasket you would have oil in your coolant and coolant in your oil. oil has to go somewhere, leaked out or burned up.

i think it's burning up but i don't know y so bad. i do drive it hard but damn, almost 4and1/2 quts gone.......

well you wanna hear some burnt oil stories... i can burn 3 quorts of oil on the way from miami to orlando (1 way)..but i have 220198.3 miles on my car and i drive it like i stole it. its been over heated 3 times lost 2 head gaskets and an oil pan(long story..lol) and 2 dizzys. :grinyes:

oh yeah there is not one leak motor is spotless it all burns off

damn, that sucks. but it still don't help. i don't see any thing in my coolent or oil, but poof it's gone. please stop taking my damn oil it don't cost that much buy your own!!!

if you were burning oil it would be smoking. if your leaking oil you would have a puddle or drops under your car. but most logical one is that silent stole it... being that it don’t leak or smoke... :screwy:
