okay so I know there have probably been alot of topics and questions about a starter kill. But alas, I need some help as well.
So I have a 2000 civic EX, And I read all these articles about switches and relays and what not. But all I want to do is install a simple switch to cut off the fuel pump.
I need to know where and which wire should i attach a switch to, and is it safe to install a switch to that wire. Thanks in advanced guys. :D

Attaching anything to a fuel pump wire, or any other wire in a vehicle, that upon failure of the attached part, could cause loss of power, thus loss of control of a vehicle, is highly not recommended.
I have done fuel cutoffs, but I make the consumer sign a disclaimer form.
Toggle switches are too easy to find in most cases. A flat switch, a pulse timer relay, an external relay and a diode. Cheap (parts about $20.00) and highly effective.

It's a good idea but make sure you hide the switch in a REALLY good place. And try thinking of something else to run it to such as the starter instead.
