Ive decided to make the 1st mod on my car the intake system. And I've got a few questions.
What is the perfomance difference between a cool air intake system and a ram air intake system?Wich one is better?
Is AEM the way to go with cold air intakes?
Any recomendations as far as a ram air intake?

A cold air system is just a name. Usually it consists of a ducting to vent cold air from the front of the car to a filter. Also some cold systems may refer to the intake piping material. A ram air system is the same but forces the air in a higher speeds. The only thing is unless you get a great setup the ram air can actually be a deterent, as speed rises and the air is being forced in the car can only suck what the cylinder will hold, up until this point its working great but after this the air in the throttle starts pushing back against the air being fed in thus sometimes causing a air block at the meeting point (can go to rich or to lean within seconds). I actually made my own system by not pysically conecting the piping between the filter and the feed so if the air was being forced to much for the intake to handle it would expell out the sides at the meeting point. :flash:
Why was this in the turbo section?

Huh?
Cold Air Intake isn't just a name. It's a kind of intake system. It's a pipe that runs from the throttle body to somewhere outside the engine bay. Usually right behind the bumper.
Also it has been proven over and over, that AEM is the BEST CAI on the market.

Please do not argue tosser if you do not read properly.
