it as snowing.. i got off an exit at 20mph... and i just understeered right out of the corner and tagged a guard rail... as for the seats... They are 'Tuner Fx" about 200 per.. They where kind of easy to install .. you just have to use the stock mounting brackets from the old seats... The place i got them is called "Tuners" call and talk to "Joff"
yes.. "Joff"... Its in Norwich, Ct. They will ship them out. just tell them Kris with the camaro sent you:)..

Are your rotars rusted? How long has the car been sitting?

Genopsyde
12-27-2004, 11:14 PM
rotors will corrode that much in just a few days, especially in this kind of weather.

You can get zinc played ones that won't allow rust to set in. I've thought about getting some when I do a rear wheel disc brake ocnversion if I keep mine.

I think the RS... something like a fence, a ditch and a volvo?...

Ok if you got zinc plated rotors to prevent rust, would the zinc not just get scraped off when you apply the brakes??

well, well i hope you learn a lesson from this.....snow is why they make winter tires and old winter beaters that are cheap....not as many ponies as our z's but it sure saves youre car from salt and old man winter....anyway i'm sorry to see youre baby in this condition...don't look too bad it is certainly repairable...good luck!!!!!!!!! btw youre running nice tires and rims...

Sorry about that Lotus but thats why I hardly ever drive my F-body in the winter. Its always a good idea to have a second car and I would start looking up car parts if I were you and yes even though it looks pretty bad, I'm sure it is fixable.

i was gonna ask you how much for the engine lol...you can do some pretty amazing stuff with body putty, i've fixed a few bumpers already, although they were fiberglass, but with a little sanding and some careful work you couldn't tell anything ever happened. Just a thought.

HAHA! I told you guys to use your brains. Camaros don't belong in the snow.

The seventh pic is what made my jaw drop... couldn't look anymore. Thats awfull dude, I know its mostly body work but still (hopefully its just body work!).

I'm no expert but from having a few of our cars repaired over the years it usually looks much worse than it is. I can't tell if thats the frame you've shredded underneath but if its just the front and rear quarters that need to be replaced you should be able to find those in a scrapyard. If the rear bumper brackets/mounts aren't busted you can easily keep it and use body filler in patch it up (same with the door). That front wheel is what really worries me brother. Lets pray the suspension is ok.

Go fuck yourself boy. You're the kind of jerk I'd enjoy tripping to the ground and kicking your face full of snow.

Snow is why you buy a 1986 Ford Escort 2 door 5 speed. A little piece of shit car that you can beat around for winter months and get rid of come summer time. And you can get em for like $150.

I totally agree - there's no argument (but NO need to rub it in like the other SOB did). My everyday beater is a '93 Subaru Impreza, FWD, 1.8L H4, 110hp. Paid $2,500 CAD for it before last winter and its been amazing. This was right AFTER I had bought a '93 Camry from my girlfriends friend for $500 - thing barely made it to my mechanic to certify, it had no brakes, huge rust and holes directly underneath the drivers seat... car ended up in the junkyard but I got my money back. I hear you Josh, I used to buy and sell beaters on a winter by winter basis. Just got to be careful.
