1998 opel vectra

hello , i´m new here and at first i want to show you my opel vectra , its a german car , i think it is a bad drawing , maybe some of you can give me advice what i should change , the shadings are the worst i think , but first take a look :

The proportions are off on the first one. Its a little bubbly and its on different planes of perspective. The second one has the same problem, except the left is lower than the right.

ok , hm , the first one is not my best work :D
maybe this tuned one is better , in perspective and details ( no shadings)

That last one is much better. I can see very few proportional mistakes. Great improvement!

But yeah, on the last one the wheel is off, and all of them, the front left seems to slant more.

why am i drawing so inclined , everything i draw is so weird , maybe im drawing too fast :D

Maybe you outta just chill and enjoy it.

Don't place such high expectattions on yourself....lol that's easy to say I know becuase I feel the same burn, but seriously...have fun. You're drawing...enjoy it.

Take your time, and use an eraser.

Put on some cool music like Blossom Dearie or old school funk like the Ohio Players, and learn more about you and your art...between the lines.

Pretty good work. Once you get the basic proportions down, you'll be fine. I'd suggest sticking to line drawings and mastering proportions before doing alot of shading. Keep it up

I guess zwofurti and me, we're the only only ones who can comment that... are Vectras sold to the US?

I don't like that car very much, my dad has one, but the drawings are good. Of course threre are a few mistakes, but they go away after some more drawings. If you keep going like that, your local copy-shop can close soon.

I don't know how you do it, but when I start with a picture, I look at the photo some minutes and I try to find similarities - parallel lines, same distances ... then I start making tiny lines and points on my sheet to get an orientation. You always have to see your drawing as a whole thing, that avoids incorrect distances and proportions.

I think a good practice you get your drawings not "inclinded" would be to draw on grided paper.

take more time on your drawings, study the car you gonna draw, use a grid or something to learn how the proportions should be!
