Frankie,, Just wondering if your a certified Tech or not,,, requires to remove timing belt/ waterpump and such,,, So if you do this timing belt removal, you need special tool to realign twin cams after removing timing belt, and waterpump,,, other then that,, its a breeze, lol,, Oh, and you'll also need serpentine belt removal tool as well to remove that,,,possibly a lower crank puller,, but most the time if you gently pry with two screwdrivers, it'll come off just fine,,,Good luck

If you have basic metric wrenches and sockets (the more the better), you should be able to tackle it. You can make a cam alignment tool with apiece of steel stock and a bench grinder to get the right thickness of steel to slip in the ends of the cams across the head. The crankshaft pulley comes right off in your hand after using an impact wrench to remove the bolt. You have to remove the spash shield in the right wheelwell and loosen the serpentine belt. To the left and up from the Crank pully is the tensioner pully. PUt a 13mm wrench on the centerbolt and pull to the rear of the car. The belt will come loose. Slip it off the crank pulley first and the rest is easy. You will also have to remove the top engine mount bracket and rubber mount and recovery tank. The power steering pump also will come out after 4 bolts are removed--3 from the access holes through the pulley and one by the heat shield down low. the heat shield will have to come out for this--4 bolts. Obviously the valve cover comes off. the bottom radiator hose on the pump is a booger, and you might want to wrestle new radiatior hoses on at this time--its worth the time savings. the power steering pump comes out toward the front of the car and up--its tight , but it will go. The three timing covers are easy, but the water pump pully has to come off first. The tension pully for the timing belt is not spring loaded, and is 17mm. Before taking the timing belt off, mark rotation or I suggest replace. From there, you can see the water pump, 4 bolts to remove. After it is out, change the two small black guide pulleys over to the new pump using torx bits. Clean the engine block surface like your life depends on it and the reassembly is EXACTLY the reverse of removal. Make sure to use a LITTLE gasket sealer on both sides of the pump. Reassembly is the trickiest part on the timine belt tension, poer steering pump, and serpentine belt reinstallment, but be patient, you will get it!! Make sur you support the car with jack stands and support the engine before you remove the engine mount plate. Hope this helps--I done the job 3-4 times and it takes 6 hours the first time if you have all the tools.
One more tip--make sure the cams are straight with the tool and the keyway on the crank is straight up with the left side of the key at the twelve o'clock position. Sorry for the typoes.
