Looking for a source to get a large capacity fuel tank for Wrangler TJ. Any ideas?

How large? You might have to go with a custom company in your area. Have you considered jerry cans?
Otherwise, check Quadratec, if it's made they'll likely have it.

25 gallons would be ideal. I don't want to use jerry cans at this point but may later. I did go to Quadratec at your suggestion but didn't find anything for a TJ.

Dang; sorry about that. I remember seeing gas tanks in some catalog, but it escapes me right now. They were diamond plated, rust proof, yadda yadda. I'll rack my brain for awhile and see if I can remember.

I checked JC Whitney and several other places I've gone to; they had tanks, but not the capacity you're looking for. It may not fit up under there.
Back to the Jerry Cans; you could get 2 5-gal cans and have more than 25 gallons available. I know they suck to transport, but.....

Oh well. I will keep looking. To have someone custom modify one would be a lot more than just getting one aftermarket.

Good luck finding it....
