90 Calais 2.5 Tech 4

I'm about ready to sell this car to a junk yard.

Backfires
No Acceleration

I have to gently accelerate or it backfires, it stalls out sometimes. I would never be able to take this car on the interstate. It's a challenge to go 35mph.
You need air, fuel, & spark...but i'm not sure what
The coil is in such an awkward place, near the firewall under the intake...it's not worth my time trying to get to that to fix it. perhaps a spark plug test, compression test is in order?
Any ideas on what I could do?

Things I think it could be:

The cat is clogged

The Injectors are bad

Spark plugs & wires

Coil/Distributor

Vaccum Line

Timing

Fuel pump/filter
