95 grand am flooding? No Codes

I have 95 6cly and this winter it starting running badly when it is cold.
I think its like it is flooding maybe because if I put it in park and give it gas it clears up and runs smothy for a while and then goes back to poor within a while. This is only when its cold. Within maybe 3o mins the cars runs just fine. I cannot get any codes off it and my light does not light up except when i first turn the key in the test mode before i crank it up.
I have replaced the temo sensor and it didnt matter. I also get a black smoke when I clear up the idle. How many sensors effect this and what should be my next move. Thanks
