The hole down by the passenger side where your feet are should be big enough. If it's not then just drill the hole a little bit bigger and run the wire though. That's my only ideas on that because i dont know of any other holes to run it through. ;)

That hole starts on the other side of the engine right where the engine is can i stick it threw there and will it come out to the passengers side ?!

should be a plug in the firewall somewhere. just get a coat hanger and fish it through.

Is there anyway i can do this with out having to drill cause my wire is 1 inch thick as i stated ! it says 4 gauge on it ..... and its copper or something its huge and red lol really thick i mean i worked with amp wires this is the first one this thick it looks like the shit running on the telephoen poles!
And i don't want to drill just want to know if thers a hole i can stuff that threw ......... !
Alll those big things in the engine and no one hole in there thats big enough for a one inch wire you guys tellin me !

Honda didnt design the cars to have massive power wire stuffed through them. Either you drill a hole, or get a smaller power cable. lol :lol2:

there should be a hole with rubber around it where a wiring harness comes through from the engine bay (mine is way up under the dash on the passengers side in right corner) you can just get a knife and cut the rubber part just a litte bit and pull it through there...i did the same thing for my 4 guage and it was a BITCH, but it worked...you'll probably have to feed it through under your where your battery is...good luck, my son.
i drive a 96, but i'm assuming there's one up there in yours somewhere.
hope it helped.

dude 1 inch think sounds more like 8 gauge to me whatever you do dont cut it in half

NO man mine wire is 4 gauge i know it is cause it says it on the wire for people who keep saying its 8 gauge ............... Ive done this before on other cars this is the first time i have seen a wire this thick and i know its 4 cause the lower the number the thicker the wire!
Anyways though ...... I just want to cut it in half just at the tip so i can get it threw and then i can pull with all my miGHT lol ........... other then that I dont' want to drill last time i drilled the trunk to mount my speaker diaster struck!
But thanks for the info you guys were awesome help seriously ! Im going in for the surgery this weekend lol if theres someone who can convince me why not to do this then speak now or forever hold your peace ! :alien2:

Becaues then Sparq will say "I told you so"
And besides if you cut it in half, feed half thorugh and then pull on it, you will only continue to split the wire and only pull half through. What makes you think that the wire, plus have of the wire folded back on itself (since taht will be the other half of the head of the wire you split) is going to fit in a hole that the wire itself didnt fit in?

you can definitely fit it through, just keep widenind the hole. Oh, and 1" thick wire sounds more like 0 gauge or 1 gauge.

Thanks people but i already did the install I told you man its not that hard no need for drill just cut the wire in half and pull as hard as you can now the wire fits so tight in the hole its just right no problems no drilling and I made an easy
80 dollars!
ha I told you so :bloated: :frog: :smoka: :sun:
But really i apperciate the help you guys gave with out your info it would of taken weeks for me to come up with disccusion!
THANKS

Heh.. i could be wrong.. ( i doubt it though ) but i think 8 guage is actually thinner than 4 guage. :flipa:
Hahah.. but a one inch thick wire sounds like Zero guage to me... regardless of what it has written on the wire.
You can put a Vtec sticker on a supra... but that dont make it faster...
or does it? :bloated:

8 guage is thinner but when i said 1 inch thick i was speaking approxiametly this thing is thick though not like usual wires get a couple of 8 gauges about 4 or 5 hold them together thats how thick this thing is
anyways i found a handy chart you guys might enjoy !
This table shows the amount of current flow which will cause a 1/2 volt (0.50) drop in a 15 foot run of cable. Many people consider 1/2 volt to be the maximum acceptable voltage loss in a system's main power wire. This chart is a bit de-rated, so you may "fudge" a bit and still get acceptable results.
The 'total amp power' A.K.A. total RMS power output of all of the amplifiers combined. It is based on 60% efficiency and a battery voltage of 13.8 volts.

I can speak as an I told you!! I originally ran my 4 gauge and i cut it in half......needless to say i got so frustrated i ripped it out and bought a new one and drilled a hole big enough to run it through......just drill it or buy a smaller wire.
