Well, oxygen sensors and ABS wheel sensors are very common problem in monte carlos. I guess Chevy still has some learning to do with sensors!

I have a coolant level sensor issue. Actually, I had that replaced, but the light came on again about a month later, and the coolant wasn't low. I don't think that it has ever been low since I bought it. Mine is a 2001 with 30k on it, and obviously the warranty has expired. I am looking for an answer before I sink any more needless money into it! My best friend has a 2000 Monte Carlo and hers had over 100k before she developed the same problem. My sister has an '04 with about 15k and she hasn't had any trouble except for the rotors, but that was warranty work. I am just dying to know what the problem is here. If anyone has any ideas....
Thanks!
Thanks!

What kind of problems are you having? What year and model Monte do you have?

Instead of explaining just search my username and read the growing list of problems. THe trac system service light came on tonight. That is about 5 or 6 electrical problems. This may be alternator related for not having enough juice to run the system??? Who knows? I am sure the dealer would be glad to tell me for a nominal fee. 2001 MC ls 3.4l

I have a 2001 and recently sent a question asking if anyone was having problems as I've had. Perhaps my problems are sensors but I don't think so. Search the net for recalls and TSB's on the car. I have found a recall on some m.c. for the fuel pressure regulator, and tsb for 2 other things, 00-07-30-002 B and 02-07-30-022 B. I love the car itself, but hate all the problems it has.
